Do you have a dog/cat or any other animal that sheds all over your house? I find myself constantly vacuuming and sweeping the floor and using a lint remover on LO.
Anyone else have this problem?

even though we had two cats, they stayed out of charlie's room so it wasn't a big issue. pet hair was more on us!
but i cannot live without buying lint rollers in bulk!

We have a pet rabbit. He has a double layer of fur, and I swear he sheds more hair than a large dog. We are constantly vacuuming, and there is still rabbit hair everywhere! I couldn't live without my dust buster and my vacuum. (We got the highest rated vacuum from consumer reports for dealing w/ pet hair.)

We have a long-haired dog, Persian cat, and a shorthaired cat. We bought a Roomba and run it during the week and do a legit vacuum on the weekends. It just about takes care of the fur tumbleweeds, now I just need a better way to get white hair off of my black wool coats.

I vacuum and sweep a lot because we have two dogs and a cat. When we have a LO I'm not going to let the animals in his or her room so hopefully it'll stay a little cleaner in there.

Pet hair would drive me crazy! I left my dog at home with my sister when I moved to GA. We visited with LO when she was 4 months old and I felt REALLY bad because I didn't hold my dog at all. I didn't want his hair getting on me and then getting on the baby. :T

Our dog sheds a lot. I'm always finding Teddy hair in her mouth. So gross! But our cleaning lady is always telling me what a pleasure it is to clean my house because it's so clean. She comes every other week and it's not cleaned between then. I don't believe her considering we have lo and our dog.

I have to vacuum every other day or our house is a dog hair filled disaster! Does anyone have any tips to reduce shedding? I've read mixing their food with a high quality fish oil helps...

Oh my god, YES WE HAVE THIS PROBLEM. We have pergo floors downstairs so we sweep down there and then run the Dyson upstairs, but we have basically resigned ourselves to living a dog-hair-filled life. We keep lint rollers in every room of the house and in our cars, but we're fighting a losing battle.

Yup - pet hair all over everything (one dog, one cat). Upholstery, clothing, cars, etc. I have lint rollers all over the place but I mostly just live with it.

I love my cats. But I can't stand their shedding! I feel like
minutes after I am done cleaning the house it's covered in fur again. I already told my husband that our next house will be carpet free haha.

We have a long haired dog and 2 cats that shed like crazy. I vacuum twice a week and have learned to live with it. I love them so much that I don't mind. I just don't wear anything black.
@bienlivingdesign: I put fish oil in my pets' food. I definitely notice a difference in the amount of shedding.

@artbee: One of our dogs is named Teddy too, and his hair is everywhere-
We have 2 pomeranians, we know when its time to have them groomed when we start having hair balls all of the carpet. As long as their hair is short, we don't have big issues.

@arielle9510: We had hardwoods in our townhouse before we bought our house- the hair was SO MUCH worse. I swear all I saw were dog hair tumbleweeds all the time.

@babynumber1: Our dog came with his name, he's a rescue. Did you name your Teddy? Pomeranians are so cute! My Teddy is a big dog, he's a mix of German Shephard, Golden, and more.

We have 2 dogs and a cat. Luckily the cat barely sheds and one of our dogs is long haired and doesn't shed but the other dog....ugh! She sheds enough for 4 animals! Shes short haired and has allergies so she scratches A LOT! If I had time I would vacuum everyday but we're usually only able to vacuum every few days. I'm definitely going to try the fish oil!

@marley: Glad to hear from someone where it made a difference! We are definitely going to start doing this. She sheds CONSTANTLY.

We have a yorkie that doesn't shed (and we usually keep his hair pretty short). But our beagle terrier sheds like NO other. Her fur is everywhere!!!... We have to vaccum ALL.THE.TIME.

I cant escape it in my house no matter how much I clean I swear. We have four of our own dogs, then we foster 2-3 additional dogs at a time. We have 4 of our own cats and foster cats every now and again too.

Yes, pet hair rules our house. Our best weapons are the Furminator brush and the Dyson animal, with the spinning hose attachment.
Also lint rollers in the car!

We have a long haired german shepherd and a cat. The dog sheds all the time, but she goes through 2 phases a year where she grows in a new coat and literally sheds like MAD. I mean, I'll brush her every single day and I can still pull like clumps of fur from her. It lasts for about 2 weeks or so, and it sucks. Other than that, I vacuum probably 3-4 times a week, and we use lint rollers.
