We are looking to get a double stroller and after debating strollers for months and trying them all out, we think we are going to go with the Contours. It's about $250 new which isn't the end of the world, but I'm wondering if it would be better to try and find a used one. I've been looking around for a few days, but no luck so far. Would you continue to look for a used one or just suck it up and buy a new one? I've found other double strollers for sale but none that I have actually tested out, and I don't want to buy something I don't love.

Can you use the contours with a newborn? If not I would think you still have a bit of time to find a used one and if not amazon can always send you one in two days.

I bought used, an older version of the contours options for $60. I haven't used it with the infant car seat clip yet but have used it for DS1 and his cousin and it was great! I say keep hunting for used.

@T.H.O.U.: Yes you can. It has an attachment for the car seat. I do get 10% off the stroller on Amazon so it does make it a bit cheaper but still a bit much since we need to buy other things for baby as well.

Will you be using it a lot? If so I might buy new, but otherwise used. We scored our double used ($700 stroller for $150!) and don't use it tons, but love having the option.

@Mrs. Yoyo: Hmm...I used the stroller every day with A because we would take a lot of walks in the warmer months. I just don't know how life will be with two, in general, to know how much I will be able to use it. I think if I had a good stroller I liked, it would get more use.
