Do you have a double stroller option that you use after driving somewhere? We have the rumble seat for our uppababy vista, which is fine, but it's so huge I hate putting it in the car. Wondering if there is a decent inexpensive option that works ok for a toddler and baby but doesn't take up the entire trunk of an SUV and weigh 30 lbs.
Mostly if we drive somewhere we just have the toddler walk but occasionally that's not practical.

@Foodnerd81: We must be on the same wavelength this morning! I posted asking for opinions on the GLink because I hate that our current double takes up my whole trunk. The Glink has infant positioners and goes completely flat so it can be used for both kids. It's certainly not inexpensive, but I figure it will have decent resale value when I'm through with it.

Not to thread jack, but do you like your rumble seat? I held off on getting a double because my oldest (2.5) prefers to walk and the winter was so cold we weren't going out much anyway. Mostly it's been fine - But there have been a couple of times where I wish I had somewhere for her to sit, so I'm thinking the rumble seat might be a good (inexpensive) option for us. Especially with the warm weather coming I'm thinking it would be nice for her to hop on and off when we are at the park, walking to get ice cream, etc.
Not sure if the rumble seat will be OK or if I should shell out the extra $$ for a true double.

We have the Bumbleride Indie twin, but it does take up the whole trunk of our SUV and probably weighs 30 lbs. It's really nice, but my kids don't like being in it, so we rarely drag it out anymore. More often I use a super cheap umbrella stroller that my kids will actually sit in, plus the Tula. They're almost 2. If we are going somewhere outdoors we sometimes do the wagon, which they both sit in really well.

Well it's certainly not the cheapest option, but the city mini double is great. It lays completely flat, or, I can stand it up against the seat backs (we have a highlander) and it takes up like 1/4 of the space in the back.

The Duet fits in the back of my van with enough leftover space for a weeks worth of groceries.
It's fold is smaller than the Vista.

@Charm54: not threadjqcking at all. I like the rumble seat ok. It's really annoying to push around corners because right now I have to have the 30 lb toddler in the rumble seat so it's heavy and awkward. On smooth surfaces it's fine. And surprisingly she never complains about being tucked down there. Once the baby is big enough to sit in the rumble seat and the toddler can be in the big seat I think it will be fine (have the older version so the rumble seat doesn't recline). More often I ot the baby in the carrier and just use the regular seat, because it's easier to push and the baby sleeps better that way.
@twodoghouse: I actually usually do just have the baby in the carrier but I'm thinking of times when I want them both in the stroller and contained- like a dentist appt coming up. It's better if they are both in a seat of some kind. But I don't want to spend a lot on something not much smaller than the vista.
@Truth Bombs: the glink really does look great but I can't justify the price for how much I will need it. If c was younger I might or if we drove and needed the stroller more.
