Can I wear this to a wedding? Or no be aide it's ivory?

That's a tough one... I REALLY like it and it looks really good on you, but I always try to avoid white/ivory at weddings. Even with the bands at the bottom, it's still a lot of ivory. Do you know what color the bride's dress is? If her dress is WHITE WHITE, then I think you could get away with wearing this, since it's ivory. But if you're not sure what color her dress is, I might not wear it. Can you find it in another color??

I think it's pretty and looks good on you but I think it's too much white for a wedding.

I'd say no.
Eta you could still get it bc it's really cute!

@cheert16: I would say no. It's just too much white/ivory before there is any introduction of color.

It's really pretty, but like others, it's too much white for me to wear to a wedding.

I feel like it's too much. My personal rule of thumb for dresses at a wedding is if I feel unsure then it's probably too much and I should get another dress.
P.S. You look really pretty in it though! It's a great summer dress!

First it's looks FANTASTIC on you!!! You should get it for that reason alone! I don't think I'd wear it too a wedding though.... maybe with a cardi buttoned most of the way to really break up the white? I think I'd do that if I couldn't find anything else that I felt comfortable in... your lo is only a couple months old right? I think pp moms get a break some when it comes to attire & functions!

The dress is mostly white, but I don't think anyone will mistake you for the bride. It's not like you will don a veil and pearls right? The dress looks great. Us blessed-with-alotta-chest ladies can't go wrong with a V-neck. I would work in some black neceklaces.

I would say no, but it is super cute! You should buy it anyway.

Not for a wedding, but I would buy it anyway since it is perfect for almost any other even slightly dressy occasion!

I think you should get it because it looks great on you! I wouldn't wear it to a wedding though. Way too much white!

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I think that's what I am going to do!!
@runsyellowlites: I am 8weeks and nothing fits right! I am going to throw a black cardigan over and jazz it up with ball jewelry an shops that it works!
I got it- hope that a black cardigan makes it not so white! Also it was on sale- anyone have experience with dying clothes?

@cheert16: I vote cardigan and bright fun jewelry. You can get away with it if you introduce color up top.

It's a beautiful dress, but I don't think I would wear that to a wedding

I love the dress but I vote a big NO for a wedding. If you are iffy on the white, why risk hurting any feelings? (Says someone who had a guest wear white to her wedding more than 3 years ago and is still mad)

@kjpugs: I had 3 guest where white &/or ivory.. one being our Pastor's wife... it was a very pretty ivory short/chic dress. lol

@cheert16: That's really what I would do... like I said, 2 mths pp.. you SHOULD get a break! I don't think I'd have managed to even attend a wedding at that time! lol
