How long did it take you to drive a car after having a Cesarean?

i think my ob told me not to drive for a few weeks, but i had to start at about 2 weeks out. i tried to keep it to just short distances and easy drives though.

They told us at our birthing class the other night that- here in the UK- you're legally not allowed to drive for 6 weeks after a c-section! Crazy, right?

The doctor told me not to drive for 6 weeks, but I went out after 5.5 weeks. I needed to get out on my own, I was going stir-crazy. I also felt pain until 5 weeks though. This time, I'll probably drive again after 3 weeks.

I am pretty sure legally here after any major surgery (c-section included) you aren't permitted to drive for 6 weeks, although I think most people cheat and start before 6 weeks is up.

My doctor told me I could start driving after 2 weeks.
