My 9 week old has started drooling like crazyyyy especially after nursing. Is this normal for a 2 month old ? When did you notice an increase in drool in your LO ?

Yes, exactly at 2m. I'd say by 4m it was gone?
People told me it was teething but, the drool has stopped and no teeth yet.

@coacheswife123: I think it's normal...L has been doing it for about a week or so!

Yep around that time it started and he still is drooling like crazy at 5 months! I think it's even worse.

Me too...he discovered his tongue, is sucking on his hand, and drooling...but not crazy amounts yet.

Yep! My ped said its normal and DOES NOT mean they are teething. Like @TurtleDoves: people said that meant teething so I'm glad my doc cleared that up before she started! I would have been so confused!!

Yep, Baby A started this recently as well. Ped said it's because the saliva glands are maturing and baby isn't sure what to do with it all yet. Totally normal. Mind tends to do it the most in the car seat. Weird.
