Is this possible? LO has a bad drool rash around his mouth, and it looks like his hands have it now. His thumbs and index fingers are all red and irritated 
Other than lots of Aquaphor, is there anything else to help a bad drool rash? It doesn't seem to bug him, but it looks so painful!

C has the same thing! I have actually be worried she was having an allergic reaction or something, but I think it's just the constant drool
I don't even like putting the aquaphor on her hands since they go straight into her mouth.

My son has this too. The only thing that helps is aquaphor. I asked his pediatrician if it was ok since he sucks his fingers, and she said it should be fine and she even uses it on her lips when they get really chapped. I just hate using it all the time because it stains our clothes and everything from the floor sticks to his hands. Maybe I should vacuum more

LO had the same thing. I didn't put anything on it, but I started giving her a lovey or a taggie blanket so she wasn't always sucking directly on her hands.

@Foodnerd81: I thought the same thing! But those fingers are constantly in his mouth, so I'm pretty sure that's what it is.
@jodyblair: Good to know! I put him in a sleeper with mittens and I slathered his hands in it, so hopefully that helps.
@stine_ciro: I need to get him a taggie blanket! He is obsessed with tags.

When LO was a few months old she had a rash on her hand too. They had me put diaper cream on it and it helped. This was before her "everything in mouth" phase though. Maybe try at night when baby's asleep?
