I have never tried dry shampoo before. Anyone have a favorite brand or one they hate? I have curly hair that I straighten frequently and I'm wondering if it would allow me to go an extra day between straightening...

I love it. I also have curly hair and straighten it most of the time. Sometimes I don't wash for two days.

I have curly hair...I have found Dry Bar dry shampoo (greenish bottle for blonder, white-ish bottle for brunette) to be the best!!! $20 at sephora
I could easily wash my hair Monday AM and straighten it...then wear it in a pony style Tuesday. I have found with dry shampoo and using Neuma shampoo ($13 amazon) I can get through Weds...Monday/Tuesday down, Weds is usually up in a pony or bun! Its awesome!

I don't wash my hair for 5-6days. I have long, thicker, slightly frizzy hair. No curl just ugly waves.
I don't use any dry shampoo now but I use to use the tresseme! I would start cheap then move up. I also used baby powder but my dark hair didn't like it!

I have oily hair and living proof is the only dry shampoo that has every worked for me.

@mrsjd: I need to try this.. I have oily hair too and I feel like most dry shampoo haven't been that magical for me.

@dcw6411: definelty! That's what I did. Extended by one day, then two, and now I could probably go a whole week if I used dry shampoo. Everyone says you can "train your hair" and they're right!
