We have the uber-popular Motorola. We like it, but haven't needed the second monitor yet.

We have the summer infant one and I like it. The keypad is intuitive, and I like the scan btwn cameras function. It also doesn't interfere with our wifi like our old infant optics setup did.

we have the motorola MBP35. No complaints... I love it! The battery did die after a year and a half or so, but you can buy a new one on amazon or ebay and just put it right in.

@mrs. wagon: hm. My parent unit on the single died and I wonder if that's the problem?
@chopsuey: which model?

We also have the summer infant monitor. We ended up buying another monitor for LO#2's room. Like @MerryC said I like how it scans between the 2 rooms. It does an 8 second interval and hooks up to 4 cameras.

@lavender: @MerryC: is that something that happens in the background at all times? Can you turn that function off?

@locavore_mama: on the motorola you can set it to camera one, camera two, or scan between all cameras. I think on ours it goes between every 6 seconds. That's what I leave it on usually.

@locavore_mama: you have the option between scanning between the two or leaving it on whichever camera you want.

Motorola MBP36 (2 cameras and one parent monitor) - It has the ability to just view one room OR scan between both rooms for ~10 seconds at a time. It works for us!

@locavore_mama: this one! one monitor, 2 cameras.
I keep my setting on scan when the kids go down for the night.

@locavore_mama: you can set it a bunch of different options: scan btwn cameras, each room singly, or split screen with both pictures and you select which room's sound you want.

Thanks everyone!
Looks like summer infant and Motorola are equally loved. I think it might just come down to which I can find cheaper.
