If you are on vacation (and therefore your LO is not in daycare) do you still pay!? There was nothing in our contract about it and I forgot to ask!

Yup. We went on vacation and then LO got sick, he was out for almost 2 weeks. We still have to pay for that time.

Around here you get 2 weeks a year for vacation that you don't have to pay daycare fees. But - I know it varies from region to region and place to place!

Yup, we pay for 51 weeks a year. The daycare is closed for a week between Christmas and New Years.

We get one week of "free vacation " a year, but that's only for pre-school DD,, not for LO who is in daycare.

Nope! But our daycare was verrrry atypical when it came to price. In other words, it was cheap! But still awesome

yes at our daycare we pay. The only other way around it is to pull her out and re register her, and repay the registration fee of $75

Hmmmm I'll need to email the director. I should have thought about this earlier! Luckily, my husband and I get paid vacation so it will just be status quo money wise when we are off work.

I think it depends on daycare, for our daycare we are given 1 week vacation where we don't have to pay.

we get Christmas to new years off and I'd hate to just pay to send her there if she's not going to be there!
