My FIL bought us one for x-mas a couple of years ago and I love it! We have a black lab and it definitely picks up everything. I haven't had any issues since we got it 2.5 years ago either.

I'm interested in hearing reviews too! We JUST bought the Dyson 40 last weekend but DH is thinking of exchanging it for the Animal 65.

I love it, definitely super power and does it's job VERY well. It's just kinda heavy for me (but I'm very petite)
