My 3 year old is on her 2nd ear infection this year. The first one took 2 months and 4 rounds of antibiotics to get rid of, plus other drugs to lower swelling of her nasal passages and congestion. Not even 2 months later she has another ear infection and I'm about to call the doc because the first round of antibiotics that they prescribed aren't working.

I'm not at all against antibiotics but I'm wondering if there are other things we could do to help her kick these. I'm becoming weary of how much medication I'm putting into her body that isn't even really helping. My mom is pretty old school and keeps taking about heat and various natural remedies that she used when I was a kid with nonstop ear infections. Wondering if anyone has tried anything that worked, either alongside antibiotics or without. I'll also add we did see an ENT and they didn't see anything unusual and no one is entertaining tubes at this point.
