I am having trouble finding an ear thermometer that has good reviews on Amazon

Just DON'T get the Vicks one. Worst one ever. We got it as a gift, and used it on LO when she was 1 week old (i know, you're not supposed to use ear thermometers until they're 6 months old but i didn't know it at the time) and it freaked us out with a 38.5 degree temperature.

We have the Braun one too and LOVE it! I'm a nurse and am picky about thermometers... this one is the best I've found to use with kids!

@SAHM0811: It was celsius. But 38 degrees is dangerous for a newborn!!
