I get two different reads on the ear thermometer. Today it was 2 degrees different. How do I know what is right?

I always assume that the higher temp is more accurate and that I probably just didn't get the thermometer in the right spot when I got the lower temp!

I just go with the higher.

I hate ear thermometers! I take two in each ear & average them, but that's a PITA! I'm obsessed with my no touch temporal one, it doesn't vary like the ear ones do & you don't have to waste covers.
