I need help. What are some vegetable based sides- or mains- that your whole family, especially kids, will eat?
I don’t mind if it’s a little more work but can be made ahead of time. I just run out of steam come dinner time for much in the way of prep.
We’ve got a couple of stand by proteins my kids will eat (breaded chicken cutlets, chicken sausage, meatballs, regular or turkey burgers, hot dogs) but the veggies are such a pain. They really like the Green Giant frozen broccoli tots- and I do too, they are so good, and will usually eat cut up raw cucumber or carrots. But I need more options! And I’m totally down with hiding vegetables in their main dishes as needed.
I wish they would just eat casseroles or slow cooker meals! Any recommendations?
