If you are EBF, how often do you pump? I understand that everyone is a little different (some women are milk machines!), but I'm just trying to get a general idea.

olive is 12 months and i'm pumping 1-2 times a day. i'm just sick of it at this point, but i'm too scared to quit! olive is still such a nursing addict, i don't want to completely dry up yet!
i used to pump 4-5 times a day and have slowly reduced over the past couple of months.

I pump maybe once a day. DD is 8 weeks old but I am a SAHM so theres no real need for me to go crazy over pumping. I pump sometimes either in the middle of the night, if she slept a long stretch or early afternoon when she is taking a good nap.

@Bao: Same here. I have the best luck late at night, after he's asleep, or early in the morning. Sometimes I'll nurse him on one side and pump on the other.

I used to try to pump once a day but have been really lazy about it lately. When I do, it's before I go to bed. It's usually my longest stretch where I can get it in and make it worth while. I'm also SAH, so it's not critical that I pump.

I wake up engorged every single morning so I pump as soon as I wake up and at night (in an effort to prevent overnight engorgement).
Sometimes I'll add a 3rd pumping session midday so i can have a bottle on hand if I want to go out (appointments/visits/errands) because I don't want to be forced to stop what I'm doing to nurse or be forced to BF in front of someone I'm not comfortable with.

I usually pump once a day. I try to do it in the early morning or right before bed. Early morning usually yields more milk for me.

Once or twice a day. Whichever side she doesn't eat in the morning (I don't always do this) and at night before I go to bed.

My LO is going to be 8 weeks old on Saturday. Currently, I'm pumping one time in te middle of the night after her wake up/feed. That's basically to build up my freezer stash.
I'm going back to work in a week and a half and ill pump 3 times while I'm gone. I'm not sure if ill drop the middle of the night pump at that point, but probably not because ill be engorged!
