thanks all!!! =)
@birdieputt: they actually told me to come in today so they could monitor me. i guess because every woman is different.... i didn't have any contractions while they were monitoring me and they checked my cervix and all, they said i looked good but to take it easy. and empty my bladder and drink lots of water. (same thing i've already been told by other people).... doctor did say that if it happens again, even if it's b/h, to call their office just so they could make sure (if it doesn't go away within an hour or 2) - some women have contractions and don't realize it.

Yay for you, you won't feel the time passing now! I got my date yesterday, kind of- 15/16/17 of may if I haven't gone in before that. How many weeks will you be at on your date? I'll be 38, and apparently it's becoming fairly common practice here not to leave twins much longer than that. I'd say you can't wait!

@aunt pol: are you having twins too??? i'll be like 38 weeks and 4 days! i was a bit concerned that might be on the "late" side. but fridays are my doctor's surgical days and they will not schedule me before 38 weeks unless it's a medical emergency.... so, here's to hoping they hold on as late as possible!

@tequiero21: yup, two girls here dancing on my bladder! Yeah it seems to be something of a balancing act with twins, to try to keep them in you long enough for them to be as well as possible, and to get them out before they start torturing us!

@aunt pol: sigh i know exactly what you mean..... all of a sudden, i feel horrible! just so pregnant! i don't know how i'll handle it with 7.5 more weeks of these babies lol. especially since i know the last month or so is when you get really big! both of these babies are over 4lbs now. eek!

I threw the question up on my local multiples forum - when were all the babies born- and the women who'd been let go to 39-40 weeks all said the last week or so was rotten. That's great your babas are past the 4lb mark, they don't have to put on a whole lot more really. Mine were 1lb3 each last Monday 30/01, will be interesting to see how much bigger they are on the 20th at next scan!
This is my first pregnancy and in a way I feel so spoiled with all the scans, I think if we go again after this I'll feel very neglected with only a couple scans for the whole time!
