We eat a TON of eggs in our house. I think we go through 2-3 dozen a week! It's mostly DH & my intake tho, DS is only a fair weathered fan!
Any other egg lovers out there?

We go through a lot of eggs too! We buy them from Costco.

We eat a lot, too. I bake a lot, also, so that takes up a lot of eggs as well.

Depends. Eggs are high in cholesterol (DH has high cholesterol due to genetics) so we try to only eat it max 2-3x a week.
But every other week I make a batch of quiche to freeze for breakfast. -
We buy 5 dozen at a time and usually go through those in 2 weeks so...yeah. We're a big egg family.
@locavore_mama: is he on medicine? My husband has no restrictions on food as long as he is on his meds.

We eat eggs every day, all four of us! The kids have either scrambled eggs or french toast every morning. We go through about 2 dozen a week!

@mediagirl: he is, but his is pretty high so to be safe we try to limit high cholesterol foods as much as possible. And ya know, family history....

I am pre-diabetic so I am constantly eating eggs or egg whites. Even if I make a skillet with ground meat, veggies and some quinoa (a dinner dish), I'll always crack an egg or two over it. Can't live without my eggs.

So much that we bought our own chickens to eliminate the middleman.

We love eggs, but we don't consume quite that many! I love baking, but I don't want to have the treats in the house super often.

Anthony Bourdain claims he is an egg whore (hope this doesn't offend anyone), and that's how much I love eggs too! Making quiche for dinner tonight!
