Going used car shopping tonight! My vehicle started acting up last week and died Sunday. Had it towed away and the repairs cost more than we can afford (13 year old vehicle). We have decided to trade it in towards something new(er).

We had planned on getting a new car at the end of the year, but thought we would be replacing DH's 15 year old jeep, not my Subaru! the Jeep has no a/c and we both work so I need a new car ASAP!

Not financially prepared for this at all, but hopefully it all works out. This will be the first car I have ever purchased, not looking forward to a car payment, but feeling so "grown up" (@31, it's about time!)
