Our coffee pot shot craps this morning. Waaaaahhhhhhhhh!!
So we are now in the market for a new coffee pot! We do NOT want a keurig, DH drinks like 10 cups/day and that would take a lot of kcups! I want to stay around $100 or under if possible.
Recommend your fave coffee makers so our marriage can survive this weekend!

I have no advice as I don't drink coffee and hubs uses a Keurig. But I just wanted to say I find it hilarious that I now have Keurig ad on my page : )

(We returned ours after three yrs for a brand new one bcuz it died for no reason. Love kohls exchange policy)

I have a keurig baby for my office but only use it a few times/week so I don't spend a lot on k-cups. For home? It would be crazy!!

DH loves our Cuisinart w built in grinder and thermal carafe (so it stays warm for hours). I do Nespresso but that's be way too pricey of I drank 10 cups a day!

We have this Cuisinart pot and I 
LOVE it. It makes 14 cups, so there is plenty for me + my coffee-guzzling husband. Plus you can set it at night and it automatically makes coffee at the time you wake up. Bliss. My favorite feature, though, is that it has a "bold" setting to make your coffee extra strong, just the way I like it.

My parents have this machine, which is pretty cool if you and hubs are on different morning schedules (it makes the coffee and then keeps it in the machine and you dispense each cup individually rather than holding the coffee in the carafe):

So many fancy ones! DH and I have an older version of this one. Nothing too fancy, but you can set a timer. We looove that you can just push your cup against the button to dispense - no pot to pour!

we have a cuisinart in the office and its pretty good. We have the one that @septca: listed on top.
My coworker use to have a grind and brew and said it was a bad investment because when the grind part stopped working they had to throw out the whole machine.

I know you said not a Keurig but you can buy a reusuable pod that you just fill with your own grounds.

@babyjmama: They do actually make what is essentially an empty K cup and you can add your own ground coffee to it. I know a lot of people who do it that way. Something to consider : )

@bunnylove08: Yeah, I am not a fan of the grind and brew because you can't control how strong the coffee is - and I like my coffee on the dark side. It's the same reason I can't go Keurig.

Yes to cuisinart! Get one with a timer! Set it up at might and it turns on and brews when uou tell it to. Lifesaver!

I used to have a fancy Cuisinart that I loved but it died after less than a year, and in our early morning desperation went to Kmart and got a Black and Decker one...12 cups, no extra bells and whistles but it is programmable. Paid like $30 and have had it for...4 years now?

I got the same coffee maker we had, just the newer version (it was 6 years old!). I got a big HELL NO on the expensive ones and we needed something NOOOOOOWWWWWWW haha!

We use a French press because prefer the flavor to drip coffee. But we only make coffee on the weekends for the most part. We both buy it at work during the week.

@ElbieKay: my MIL only uses a French press unless she can get to a coffee shop, her coffee could peel my insides out it's so strong!!
Here's our'upgrade' haha...same one as before, just newer model. Even on sale the cuisinart was more than this and the last one we had for 6 years...not a bad investment until the hubs can start working;-)
