Hi guys - I manage a small team (~15 people) who are currently all remote due to Covid. Our company is encouraging managers to come up with ways to celebrate “National Employee Appreciation Week” in March. The caveat is that we can’t spend any money (so my usual “go to’s” like gift cards, free lunch, etc.) are out. I’m trying to come up with other ideas but am struggling. My team isn’t real isn’t big on games or contests. A couple thoughts I had:
- Early dismissal (essentially let them log off a couple hours early)
- Thoughtful, individualized note or email to each person
- Team meeting where the managers highlight accomplishments from the past year (we would usually buy lunch for that sorta thing so not sure if it would just highlight the fact that we arent this year)

Can you think of anything else that people would enjoy? Thanks 😊
