My brother is currently in Seattle with his girlfriend for vacation. They are going to Canada tomorrow...I'm so jealous!
My parents are driving me crazy and they are texting me with "is he engaged yet" or "have you heard any news" every few hours! Lol. I have no clue if he plans on marrying his gf but my parents are convinced I have insider information! 
Do you normally share things with your siblings before you tell your parents?

Hahhaha. I thought he was going to propose with a wristwatch or something... My parents tend to know about my brother before I do--but he'll usually call if there's big news, and he usually returns my calls. If it's a big deal, he ALWAYS picks up or returns my call.

Lol, we always tell parents first. Nobody in my family got to know when my DH was going to propose because my mom is just a blabber mouth. But his family knew.... they had to because his mom was wearing the ring he gave me, it's a family ring. His mom even wrote me a card welcoming me to the family that he gave me after he proposed

@artbee: My parents knew DH was going to propose during a vacation. I didn't pick up on it but my Mom was totally dropping hints to get a manicure, wear makeup, and pack clothes for going out!

@autumnlove: lol, we were camping so I was wearing no makeup and sweatpants! I'm ok with that though, camping is my favorite place to be.

@pastemoo: my dad was broke so he proposed with a ring my mom was already wearing then bought her a watch. Now I have it. On their 27th anniversary she finally got her nice engagement ring.
