I'd need to upgrade from LO's old Kaiser Little Sheepy (which I loved, btw) and decided on a Iglu Thermo Aktion to last her throughout her toddler days. Here's my comparison notes in case anyone's interested:

Thank you for this reminder! We are thinking about a new stroller for when LO arrives, so I should also think about a new, much warmer footmuff!

@lamariniere: where up north and it gets pretty cold. DD was really cosy in her footmuff last winter, but has outgrown it. It was definitely a winter essential!
I really loved the one we bought before and they have a few different models I didn't include, for instance one that's specifically made for a Bugaboo. I only included the ones I found for a relatively decent price on AmazonUK.

I don't live in Europe but saw so many babies in these when I visited London in the early spring. The babies looked so cute and cozy! I've never seen them in the states.

@mrs. 64: I also saw them on a trip to Austria, Poland, and Germany a year and a half ago and my mom and I thought they were so great! I would never need one in Southern California but it encouraged me that I could go out in any weather with LO!

We'll be getting one for C! They make a City Mini one ut not sure that's what we'll do.
Jon Lewis makes a store brand that has really good reviews. You can get one for like 25 quid.
