Has anyone used EPO while TTC?
Did you have success getting KU? I just started using it this cycle, started CD6 and take 1-2 pills a day, i know i am only to use until O and then stop....it has really increased my EWCM...so i hope it works....

I'm subscribing b/c I'm interested in hearing more about this! I use it, too. What's your dosage? I admit to not being religious about it though. Thinking of starting vitex, but that's for another thread

i am using the Target brand...and they are 1000mg and the label says to take 3 per day...but i only take 1-2...it has really helped increase EWCM this week...i have been real lax about OPK's this month...but i know i havent O'ed yet...i should i Friday based on the last two months...

@chibee: good side effects fertile like CM and bad effect just a mild headache...but i am known to get headaches with just about anything i take....

I was taking it when we were TTC but I was actually using it to help regulate my thyroid. I don't know if it did or not but my thyroid regulated and has stayed normal during pregnancy, and I did get pregnant after a few months of taking it. I stopped during two week waits because I read that it should never be used once pregnancy is achieved. I didn't notice change in CM but I wasn't looking for it.

@chibee: no its ok...and yes...i have noticed that after my D&C back in August that i had quiet a decrease in EWCM during O time...the only time i would get it would be 2 days before O...and that would be it...so i had ready that EPO was good to help produce Fertile CM, and it really has helped me...

I did use EPO to increase my CM. I basically could never get the EWCM before I started taking the EPO. Not sure if it did the trick or not, but I did use it and it did increase my CM. We also used Pre-Seed.

@shopaholic: how many cycles did you use it before you were KU?

I think I started using it month 2 and got preggers month 3 (but then I had a m/c). I got preggers again 2 months after that.

I stopped BCP in August; After 3 months off I wasn't convinced I was ovulating yet so I started taking EPO at the start of cycle 4 (early Dec); and on CD 16 I got both a very positive OPK and a really positive ferning test result. I stopped taking it after that while I was in the TWW.
I'm now 17DPO and got a BFP on new years eve (tested at 14DPO due to rediculously achy boobs which DH said looked like they doubled in size overnight)!
It's still early days though, so now just praying for a sticky baby.

Lmao, even though I saw the title, when I read the post I was like EPO...erythropoietin??? LOL.
Anyway, I know a few people who have had good success with it from Weddingbee...Am considering taking it myself. Do you have a naturopath in your area?
