Has anyone ever been to one of these and did you find anything good? I found 2 sales this weekend in my area (clothes, toys, gear, furniture, maternity)... wondering if I should check it out or not. YES. i went to one a couple weekends ago and spent $300 and got a RIDICULOUS amount of awesome stuff. It was huge!!!!

Yep. I have gone to one a couple times and just recently participated in one to get rid of some stuff. I like them! The earlier you can go the better.

Yes!! You can get great deals on clothes. I missed a huge local one in August. But will be going in February to stock up on spring/summer clothes.

I went to one and wasn't thrilled but then I was looking for clothes and not gear. I found that the clothes were priced higher than I really wanted to pay for "used" clothing and that many of them had spots/stains. I would rather go to the local resale shops because their prices were better and they screen cloths for stains and/or problems (like loose stitching).

I've been to a couple and had good luck. If you want gear, you definitely need to go early though. Like, waiting on line for them to open early. And have a price point in mind, because sometimes it's so crazy in there and people are grabbing things and you see something you want, just kind of get it. I did that with a jumperoo and probably paid a little bit more for it than I needed to.

I went to one and was not impressed, but I went a few days after it started. I think you have to get there early and be one of the first ones in to get the good stuff!

If you are looking for specific gear, and you know how much it costs if you buy it new, then yes. You can find good deals. But, I have always been underwhelmed with clothes. I find that if I wait for Carter's or The Gap to have a great sale I can get clothing for the same prices.

I agree with getting there early. We got a $100 hook and ladder ride on toy for $5 and a brand new Maya wrap with the packaging also for $5, but I wasn't all that impressed with the clothes.

I went to one yesterday and got a new Ergo for $50. I also bought some toys.

Uhm, yes! They are seriously awesome! When I was pregnant with DD I got $600+ worth of stuff for just under $200. This last time I spent $75 and got a ton of clothes, toys and a new, really nice highchair for $35. Honestly, I avoid buying some things until after I go to one just because of how cheap I can get stuff that is like new.

Yes! Lots of goodies but get there early! Good stuff sells fast!
