do you check before you buy products for your LO? (or yourself, I guess?)
I check, but sometimes I feel badly because I can't afford the ones that rate zero.

I do, but often can't afford what is best! I try not to drive myself crazy over this stuff. I would have to be rich to buy everything the way I wanted to-organic, local, chemical free so I often have to prioritize.

I try to, but I forget a lot. But I mostly buy those sorts of things at places like Whole Foods, so at least my odds are better that I'll be getting decent stuff. I avoid certain ingredients automatically, like triclosan and sodium laurel(eth) sulfate.

Nope! Didn't even know that existed. I just buy Target brand everything. I love her and everything, but that's just not a priority.

Yep! I cleaned up all of our products before we TTC. The implications I've read about some chemicals and their effects on fertility and cancer are troubling. I want to give LO the best shot he can have at being healthy.. and giving me grandchildren

I check for most things, I have found cheap-ish options for most things but truthfully I am not thrilled with everything. I also make certain trade offs, I use foundation with a low rating but I don't worry about eye shadow or mascara because I wear it so infrequently and for such a short period of time that it isn't as important to me as soap which I use multiple times a day.
