Yes, my 4 year old had his well check back in January and my 9 year old had his in June. Both in person. We've also had multiple sick/injury visits as well, all in person.

My youngest has to keep on track with her vaccines.
My older 2 have not. More so because we moved and I haven’t found a dr I like to switch them to. If we had not moved everyone would still be getting them on track.

I don’t think we missed any! My daughter’s bday was about two weeks after the pandemic shut everything down, but we still had her appointment. The pediatrician’s office didn’t advise delaying vaccines. Otherwise we’ve had some in-person sick visits and some virtual.

I can’t remember when my 7yo last had an appointment but they usually call to schedule when it’s needed so he shouldn’t be behind. My 4yo has an April birthday and his well visit was cancelled Apr 2020. We’ve started doing them at half birthdays now so he had an appt Oct 2020 and will again in a few weeks. My youngest was born Apr 2020 and has had all her appts right on time

My 2.5 year old never stopped having them. But she has been getting vaccines at each one, so that might be part of the reason none were virtual. She is only allowed one parent to go with her though, which is a bit hard.

My 8 year old has a summer birthday, so it made sense for him to still go to his well visits because cases were low in the summer where we are both last year and this year. My little one needed to stay on her vaccination schedule, so she also kept going even though it made me nervous for her to go in the late fall last year.

My kids’ birthdays are late March and April, so we’ve had two well visits for each since the pandemic began! Stayed on schedule with vaccinations and everything. We’re so thankful that our ped’s office has put in a lot of measures to keep healthy kids safe.

Yes, we didn’t miss any, just had a few virtual visits for other things during early covid - they got well visits and shots back on track pretty quickly.

We have not missed any well checks or dental visits. Our well checks for spring 2020 were delayed to summer so now we are on a slightly different schedule. At the moment sick visits are virtual as COVID counts are very high in our area. Then they do drive thru testing as needed.

Yes, needed one for camp in spring. Also been to the pediatrician for nasty coughs (to make sure they're not covid) and ear infections (I guess DS will have to start wearing earplugs when he swims).

We've had our well check's but we're off schedule. My DD's 4 year check was in August and her 3 year check was the November prior (February birthday).
DS's bday is November and he will be back on track.

I took my five year old in a few weeks ago for his, but mainly because he had to get vaccines before he turned 6 and I was worried numbers were going to go back up. My seven year old hasn’t been, though.

We skipped it in 2020 (she turned 7) but went again this year once I was vaccinated. I'm not very worried about doing them right now since there are no vaccines needed and she's a healthy kid, but we did get back on track because she needed camp forms.

DD’s have stayed as scheduled through the pandemic. Dental appointments have been canceled and rescheduled a few times, but are now back on track.

Thanks everyone! I must have missed the memo that well visits were happening again. We have Kaiser and they usually nag me relentlessly if I'm behind on something but I haven't seen any communication indicating they were seeing patients for well visits again. I didn't realize everyone else was going. Good thing I got the dentist notification and we've been on track with that for a year.
The kids are now booked for a well check next week.

@Corduroy: I have Kaiser too, we've never gotten reminders when we need well visits! We didn't switch to Kaiser until my youngest was 2, so at least we only need annual visits for him and every other year for my oldest.

Yes, they've had their well checks in person. I think last year ODD 4 year well check was postponed about a month, but we've been back on schedule since then. YDD was born April 2020 and has been on schedule the whole time.

We have had well checks and gone to the dentist since both appointments typically occur over the summer/early fall it was not an issue with the initial shut downs. We've also had to navigate specialists and an outpatient surgery during the pandemic.

LO's birthday is in December, and her well visit last year was not affected. They have had us stay in the car for COVID tests, but everything else has been as usual.

I mean, yes......it's been 18 months. We only delayed my sons 15month check up by a few weeks. Masks keep you safe at the appointments.
