We somewhat relocated to a new city and I feel like I've been lucky enough to make friends pretty quickly here, mostly through activities related to DD.
DH was offered to relocate to Asia through his company and my head is now spinning. I know it's selfish to think this way since the relocation would be a pretty significant promotion for him and would present huge opportunities to move up within his company, but I'm so scared about the prospect of being lonely if we move. This would probably be a semi-permanent move, not just for a couple of years.
So to the expat moms out there...do you enjoy being an expat? How easy/difficult has it been to meet new people and to integrate? Would especially love to hear thoughts on those in HK but am interested in hearing about anyone's experiences!
