Did your newborn sleep with their eyes open? LO will be 4 weeks old tomorrow, and while sleeping she can open one eye or both, partially open or fully open and roll them around even though she is still asleep.

LO doesn't do this but I've read that it's kind of normal for babies' eyes to open while still asleep.

LO's never opened her eyes while sleeping.. but! My sister occasionally used to sleep with her eyes open while she was in deep sleep. Used to freak me out when I could see her iris moving back and forth

I don't know about babies, but my friend dated a guy who slept with his eyes wide open. It was FREAKY.

My husband sometimes sleeps with eyelids not fully closed. It is freaky, lol. Cross my fingers that LO doesn't inherit that.

This runs on my mom's side of the family! It is rather creepy. I really scared my husband back when we were dating... I woke up to him frantically waving his hand in front of my face because he wasn't sure if I was conscious or what.
The downside of this condition, besides looking like a zombie and scaring off loved ones, is dry eyes. My brother's eyes are pretty much red all the time, and my eye doctor recently told me I should start using lubricating drops every night because I the skin just inside my lower eyelids was really dry.

My husband has moments when his eyes are partially open but nothing as extreme as LO... Hers is particularly creepy when she starts laughing and smiling while rolling her eyes into her head lol. Hopefully she grows out of it soon!

I sleep with my eyes open. It has freaked out every boyfriend I've ever had and girlfriends when i went to sleepovers. i can't help it. i think it runs in the family. sometimes i'm about to wake up and realize i don't have to open my eyes to see, its very strange.

Baby Bear is 8 months old and she sleeps with her eyes cracked open sometimes. It freaks my SO out.LOL
