I honestly think I have...watching him with our LO as a new daddy, and then again watching the way he stepped up and took over all of my responsibilities with the house and LO while I have been on bed rest through my third trimester. I don't know if I would say I "fell" in love again, but I can pinpoint moments where my appreciation and respect of him definitely deepened.

....no? lol. I mean I don't think I'm prone to thinking of our relationship in such dramatic terms. We have ups and downs like anyone. I think the there has been an overall trend towards our relationship getting better and my loving him more and more. But I don't think its like I fall out of love and back into love. I think its just that sometimes we annoy each other for a while then we get over it and remember there is no one we'd rather be annoyed by

I think over the past 10 years, we've had in and out phases while maintaining a constant basis of loving each other. I wouldn't call it being out of love so much as having stages of complacency maybe? Offset by stages where you're more enamored? I'm not really a romantic but every relationship has some ups and downs. I think the longer you're with someone, the more you'll see this. Don't couples of 40+ years always say this? Someone of under 5 years may not yet have hit that

Every now and then, I'm just caught off guard by something DH does and it just does something for me (in a good way)

@mamimami: I would consider it more a deepening and maturing of a already happy love. We have grown up a lot in our marriage. We started dating at 19 & 20, engaged at 21 & 22 and married the next year. Now we are 30 & 32, are in the second home we bought together, M has done really well in his career that he started after we got married, we have traveled, have two dogs that we have had so much fun with that are 10 & 6 and within a few weeks will be first time parents. We have truly built a life, I hope that we are able to grow as much in our relationship in the next 10 years. But I look back at our relationship when we got married and I am so much more in love now. But it was not a certain thing, just doing life together makes me love him more.

I would say it's more falling deeper in love, but yes, I think I do that. He's just so damn amazing. I can't wait to see him as a daddy! I definitely already appreciate and love him more than I did when we got married (almost 6 years ago), and everything feels like it's just always getting better, even in bed. I kinda worried that after over 10 years together, things might get boring, or we'd run out of things to talk about, or something, but he's my favorite person in the whole world, all the time.

I always heard that a key to a lasting mmarriage is never falling out of love at the same time. But, I like this idea of falling in love all over again. I hope that happens soon.

Hard to really fall in love all over again when I've never fallen out of love with DH. Sure - there are ups and downs but nothing anywhere close to falling out of love.
