So it's time for a new pair of sandals....give me the scoop, what's "in" regarding sandals this season?
My only requirements are:
1) looks good with shorts/dresses/jeans
2) not too high
3) not too strappy (I don't think I'm down with the gladiator look)
4) comfy, but chic comfy, not granny comfy
I wear flip flops 90% of the time but would love to have a pair of sandals too!

Good question!! Last year was gladiators I think.. Not sure if that's still what's up this year!

I'm liking these "fisherman" sandals I saw at Nordstrom. Also these ankle strap flats.

@blackbird: I have a pair of shoes VERY similar to this that I wore for my engagement shoot back in 2009 - had no idea Frye's was a popular brand back then! You can kind of see the shoes in these pics (excuse the cheesiness). It's also a 2.5" heel!

@shopaholic: Are those bottom one's Toms? I saw them a while ago and thought they were pretty cute. I'm feeling super crunchy this year and really want a pair of Birkenstock's. They aren't going to win any style awards, but whatever. I like them.

I didn't get to see the shoes!!!!
But yes I'm eyeing these and will likely get them. My last good pair of leather sandals broke and I need a new everyday pair. And I am crazy uptight about what I wear on my feet after having surgery on both toes. And my frye boots are so comfy, their sandals must be, too, right?!

@blackbird: Fry flats are not comfortable at all, but I haven't tried their sandals. Those are pretty darn cute, though!

@mrs. high heels, ahhhh that's what I need to hear. I like all leather construction; usually they're pretty comfy even if you have to break them in a bit. The ones I posted are also available in mustard. Fun!
