We're getting ready to plan our first vacay without the baby!
We only have a week available in March, so was thinking the carribbean is easiest since it's closer and cheaper than say, Thailand.
Which all inclusives have you been to and enjoyed?
We went to the an AI in Cancun didn't have a good experience.
Recommend somewhere please!

Another vote for El Dorado. We stayed at the El Dorado Maroma in 2012 and loved it. Small resort (about 100 rooms), great service, not the place to go if you want to party, but great for relaxation and decent food for an AI. I've also heard amazing things about Le Blanc.

My friend raved about El Dorado. We stayed at the Excellence in Playa Mujeres and have stayed twice more since. It is amazing.

Gran Bahia Principe. Punta Cana, DR
We stayed in the Esmerelda section, Ambar or Esmerelda would be where I'd stay! If we ever go away again, we'll just go back there over and over! It's a huge resort, but nice to have our smaller section to keep things lower key (and our own beach section!) when we wanted.

We just got back from Secrets Maroma Beach near Playa del Carmen last week! It was incredible! I can't say enough great things. I would love love love to go back!

@Beebug: I keep looking at the Ambar.......it's fairly expensive for our dates, but doable. So you think its worth it? Can you use the other restaurants? Did you ever have an issue with dinner reservations? Did you ever go off property for anything?

@wheres_c: We didn't go off property! My biological Dad and step-mom just stayed at Ambar this summer on our recco and loved it. We are not off property adventurous people, though the options did look fun, just not our thing, we wanted to be slugs on the beach 
We ate all of our dinners outside of Esmerelda (I can recco a few spots for dins!!) and had no issues booking them! We ended up getting to book for each night and even went back to one a second time it was so good! We only ate brekkie in Esmerelda and ate/drank as we pleased elsewhere!

Couples Swept Away in Jamaica. I've been to a bunch of all inclusive resorts and this one is my favourite thus far. I've been there 3 times now.

Sugar Beach Resort on St Lucia....it's a UNESCO World Heritage site and breathtaking!! They have different packages, you cab go a la carte or all inclusive
