What's your favorite baby item? You can only name one!
Mine would be our Foscam. I have no idea how people survive without a video monitor!

Probably our RnP! We use it for everything from sleep to naps to holding her while I do chores.

Eek. I love, love, love our Bjorn Bouncer babysitter. We have traveled with it for both kids since it collapses for road trips, and I put both kids in it a ton to get stuff done around house when they are babies. It's great as a first highchair too. My 21 month old still tries to lay in it when his sister isn't in it!

Following! LO hasn't arrived yet, so I'm interested to hear if there's anything we need to pick up before he gets here

The swaddle/ZipadeeZip. She still uses her ZipadeeZip for naps/bedtime, and she calms down the second we put her in it. The swaddle was the same when she was smaller.

UBV! Nothing else has seen as much heavy use and held up as well.

The wubbanub pacifier, for the longest time that was our 1 single item we could not leave the house without. It became her lovey. She chews on the animals too.

Oh this is hard! Probably the foscam! I love having a video monitor.

We didn't get our video monitor until much later, so I'm going to say RNP for newborn days. My favorite toddler gear is our Skip Hop changing pad. I usually buy it off of registries now and get mad when I don't see it on them.

Our Journeybee travel crib. We're on the road quite often and just love how easily it is to set up and take down.

Video monitor, I have no idea how I survived A's first 11 months without it.

It's not as important now, but I agree, our moto monitor! I have no idea how my a-type, ocd-butt would've survived the first year without it!

Ah.... I guess our Snugabunny swing because we would NOT have survived the newborn stage without it.
Realistically, probably the Ergo.

Ergo. I was just telling DH that I don't know what I would do without it!

baby jogger strollers (mini and select!)
we have 2 under 2 sleeping in the same room and we still don't have working video monitors... (or sound ones for that matter)... I want one soooo much!!!! but since we've been fine without one since the beginning it's hard to justify

My woven wraps. Some days, they are the only way to keep C out of getting into everything, get him to sleep, etc. Our house would look like an episode of Hoarders without them!

Damn, it's between the Mamaroo and our B-Agile. I'll go with the B-Agile because we use it more.

The ergo. It was the only time I was guarenteed newborn sleep.
@lawbee11: heehee - when I first set up the foscam, the power kept going out and the camera would reset and point down, right at the chair where I was nursing. I felt like it was spying on me and unplugged it. Haven't used it since.

@LovelyPlum: Same here.
I love our City Elite (Baby Jogger) stroller. I'm not looking forward to selling it soon since we need a double. It has been a fabulous all around stroller.

The Ergo was so essential! She took so many naps in that thing.
A close second would be the video monitor

UBV + rocker base for the bassinet! He sleeps so well in that bassinet and I realized he's been rocking himself. Hence no need for the Mamaroo yet.

I agree with @matador84, my baby bjorn babysitter chair. My son is 12m and I still put him in it when I shower! He doesn't love it anymore but he will tolerate it and it's the only way to keep him contained!

@lawbee11: This is so helpful! LO is coming in November, and I'm registering now
Thanks, everyone!
Oh, I have to admit that the acronyms are super confusing. What would HelloBee do without them!!!

So far my moby... until today I wasn't allowed to carry LO in her car seat, so if I didn't have the moby to put her in I basically would have been housebound the last several weeks whenever DH wasn't with me!

I'm going with the video monitor as well. So convenient. And to think I was so naïve to think that its a waste of money.
