I love this thread so far!
Also, really glad I registered for A&A swaddle blankets. Amazing how many of you swear by them!

@Pepper: they really are the best blankets ever - you can use them for so many different things.
I forgot our favorite cold-weather item: the Zutano Cozie Elf fleece onesie - a long-legged suit with the cutest pointy hood. We put LO in this every time we went out this winter (over his normal clothes) and it kept him warm and happy.

Love, love, love my rock and play sleeper. LO is almost too big to use it, but it was hands down the item we used most when she was an infant. We kept it in our living room, she napped in it, we took it when we visited somewhere, and she'd sleep in this when she was sick and needed to be elevated some. LOVE it.
-Zutano booties - These are the only things that my daughter would not pull off. They were a god send this winter.
-Baby Beaba - There are many who think a baby food machine is a waste, but I love ours.
The other items I really love and would recommend:
-ultimate receiving blanket (great to swaddle with)
-Nose Freida
-Pottery Barn Kids Chamois changing pad covers (not much more expensive than babies r us ones but SO much nicer, water beads on this, and they are thick and supurb quality).
-Pottery Barn Kids hooded towels - not the animal ones, but their regular ones. The one I have is white with colored piping and seriously, this towel is in so much better shape than all my others and is so soft. Again, not much additional cost over regular baby towels.

I thought of another item, a solid surface baby changer that requires no covers.
The one I had was from Hoppop, and I don't think they make it any more, but it is still going strong 2 years later and would last through another 5 years easily.
