Pretend City in the OC is amazing but expensive. I personally love KidSpace in Pasadena myself. It has indoor and outdoor parts. It is also a reciprocal membership to our museum. We did the Zimmer Museum and that one was nice too. We haven't had as much success with the science centers. The Discovery Cube is a Science Museum but is NOT very good for young kids. I have heard that the Science museum in LA (with the space shuttle) is great for kids.

@brownie: Did your LO enjoy the water play areas?

@autumnlove: yeah. Kidspace has a splash pad area and a water play area. The water play area at pretend city was a little tall for my little guy.
