I want to make some easy to reheat meals today. Anyone have a delicious chili recipe? I have to go shopping so I can buy whatever ingredients needed.

This is my go-to - I generally don't buy the beans in a chili sauce and add or sub in a can of chick peas.

2 cans of rotel, 2 cans beans (any kind you like), 2 cans of chili beans, 1 lb ground turkey or beef, about a tbsp of chili powder, a cup of frozen corn. Throw it all in the crock pot and cook on high for 5ish hours or on low for 8ish hours. Super easy!!

I do browned ground turkey, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, bell peppers, broccoli, zucchini and other veggies I feel like sticking in there. Plus chili powder in the crock pot on low for 8 hours. Serve in a sourdough bread bowl. I would throw in beans and onion but DH doesn't like either. Sometimes i put shredded chicken in too.

I just do the simple Williams seasoning packet recipe - packet of Williams chili seasoning, 1 lb ground beef, 1 can of kidney beans, and 15 oz can of diced tomatoes OR tomato sauce. Nothing fancy, but it's pretty good!

This is my recipe that won an award! It simple but so yummy.
Brown 1 lb ground turkey (or beef if you prefer) with diced onions and season with garlic salt and chili powder. (You can omit onions if you don't have time to chop)
Once browned, add:
1 can tomato sauce
1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes
1 can great northern beans (drained)
1 can red beans
1 packet of standard chili seasoning
some sprinkles of cayenne pepper to taste
1.5 tablespoons of brown sugar
Simmer for a while if you have the time, or just heat up and serve.
Top it with cheese, sour cream, and FRITOS (most important).
Alternately, my tex mex chili is similar but has a different taste. Also simple!
1 lb ground meat, but brown with a can of mild green chilies in addition to the diced onions.
Add 1 can tomato sauce
1 can fire roasted tomatoes OR Rotel (if you want more kick)
1 can black beans
1 can corn
1 can of diced black olives (drained)
1 packet of taco seasoning
(You can also add jalapeƱos if you like spicy)
Top with cheese, sour cream, tortilla chips, avocado, cilantro, etc etc.

I don't know exactly what amount I use, but I always add a diced sweet pepper (red, yellow or orange, doesn't matter), a roasted and diced poblano pepper (or a can of green chilies), can of kidney beans, and plenty of diced onion. Several tablespoons of chili powder - I always find I have to add more than the recipe calls for and a little cocoa powder is the secret ingredient. Sounds weird, but it's amazing.

My recipe is super simple. I buy a pack of mild chili seasoning, either McCormick or store brand, and follow the recipe on the back. I've switched lately from ground beef to ground turkey, and I add a chopped onion when browning the meat. I think the other ingredients are 2 small cans of tomato sauce and a can of kidney beans. My mom taught me that recipe years ago, and it's never failed me. It's great having tasty chili in under 30 minutes.

Yum. I didn't end up making it this weekend but these all sound so good! I'm totally saving this post for later.
