I rarely eat fried rice but when I do...I like these ingredients:
Soy sauce, bacon, scrambled eggs and a little green onions.
No peas or carrots allowed! What are your favorite ingredients for fried rice?

the best stir fry i've ever had in my life was on our honeymoon in Hawaii. It was kimchi fried rice with chinese sausage and egg. SOOO GOOD. I'm still trying to replicate it. One of the best meals we had on our trip...and the cheapest.

I like basil fried rice with big chunks of chicken, red pepper, and basil. Otherwise we usually do a bag of the small cut mixed veggies with eggs and baby shrimp. Seasoning is usually some combo of fresh garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, sugar, siracha - hubby mans the wok so I never know exactly what's in there on a given day

@Mrs. Bee: Oh, sesame oil? I've never tried that before.
My usual is old rice, butter, egg (both scrambled and raw egg into the buttered rice), soy sauce, thawed (previously frozen) mixed vegetables (carrots, corn, peas... maybe green beans if it's included.)
I have some leftover rice so I'm planning on making some friend rice tonight.
