Christmas is coming up.... really fast.... and with it always seems to be an abundance of holiday treats. Probably my all time favorite is vanilla dipped pretzels. OMG, I love them!

Oh man, every year my mom and I do a whole weekend of holiday baking and make all kinds of yummy treats. My moms favorite is peanut brittle and my favorite is puppy chow.
Speaking of puppy chow: the first year I was dating my husband I made puppy chow and took it to my now in-laws and realized after the fact that instead of using powdered sugar I used flour. Talk about dry mouth and embarrassing.

@eeh: OMG! The reason I started this thread was because I am sitting on the couch eating Muddy Buddies (Puppy Chow!). AHAHAHA! Flour instead! That is something I would do!

Yup and they were too nice to say anything. I didn't even know until hours later when we were back at my house hanging out with my family and shoved some in my mouth. My husband had tried some earlier in the day and all he said was that it was a bit more powdery than usual and out the lid back on an walked away. I chalked it up to not measuring and just dumping...little did I know.

My moms snowball cookies. Basically walnut shortbread covered in powdered sugar. My MIL caramel corn and my oreo fudge!!
