We may take a last minute trip to IKEA this weekend. It's about 3 hours from our home so not too far, but also not a place I get to go very often. What are your favorite items for baby at IKEA?

Their utensils and plates/cups/bowls are a favorite in our house. They have a few different kinds so be sure to shop around!
We love their toy storage bins big and small.
They have a great, cheap bead maze and lots of wooden toys. Also a great long-sleeved smock if you do art projects at home.
I love buying bedding at ikea! We have hooded towels, crib sheets, toddler blankets/duvets, pillows....
I also love their cloth play food!
I also love their kiddie chairs and tables.
Can you tell we spend a lot of time at ikea??
We go there almost every weekend just to eat. It's 15 mins away!

We got a circus playmat there. Absolutely love it and use it for tummy time/play time all the time. Plus the bottom is canvas so it can be used outside.

@mrs. wagon: ooh great ideas. i actually already have some of the colorful little bowls. we use them for snacks all the time. i love all the colorful storage bins and such. i haven't been to ikea in about a year. can't wait to pick out some stuff for the baby! -

everything else that's already been mentioned, plus their bibs. we have a messy eater and their bibs give good coverage... they can double as art smocks too.
