I'm putting together (small!) Easter baskets and need to put something in my infant's basket. she's 2 months. she has a TON of hand me down toys from my older DD, but I feel like she needs something small. so - give me some ideas!
she really likes the octopus that hangs from her play gym, and her two lamaze toys (hippo and moose). she also loves my older daughter's cast off taggies blanket!
bonus points if I can get it at target or amazon

I second the O-ball suggestion. D loved his as a baby and he still plays with it all the time!

DS didn't really play with toys at 2 months but started showing interest in toys that crackle and very soft things like a lovey or soft tiny animal to stroke. At 6 months he likes Sophie the giraffe, his skip hop zebra with pull rings and things that rattle.

I second the baby banana toothbrush. She may not care about it immediately, but around 3-4 months it's great. And now at 6 months since he's truly teething he loves it.
He also really loves Sophie (if you don't already have one).
Winkle? I got that on amazon. The Whozzit too, which most babies seem to love, but mine doesn't care much about it.

For my two month old I got some new pacifiers, a bunny touch and feel book and these rings. My older DD loved them and we hung them everywhere. Bonus that they're obly 4.99

so many good suggestions!! we have lots of links, an oball, and sophie - but do not have a winkel (we have the skwish) and I was definitely thinking of another lamaze toy, so I added the firefly to my list!
