I just went to our local library to pick up some cds for our holiday travel road trip and there were like 5 lame looking cds left! So my plan B is to load up my phone with music/stories etc to keep lo entertained tomorrow on the road. I'd love any and all suggestions!!
My favorite kids cd that we've already over listened too is Lisa Loeb's Nursery Rhyme Parade, free w prime on Amazon music

How old are your kids? My daughter is 3.5 but we've been listening since she was about two- she loves Martin and Sylvia, junkyard tales, and the willoughby tree series!

@Silva: ooh thanks!! Lo is 2.5. We've never tried listening to stories before but I'm hoping she's into it! We cut screen time a couple weeks ago so it'd be awesome to listen to podcasts instead!

@nana87: we only watch tv on special occasions but my daughter will listen to a story just about every day and always in the car. The Martin and Sylvia stories are so sweet and gentle, about a brother and sister. No real conflict. Junkyard tales are about a bunch of animals who live in a junkyard. Willoughby tree might be a little old for him, but they are about a family of three kids who travel to places where they can interact with animals (and the animals help them solve a problem they are struggling with).

At that age, my DD really enjoyed Mrs. Pigglewiggle. We checked out the CDs from the library but I'm sure it's available on audible or maybe even Overdrive.
