What type of newborn cloth diapers are/were your favorites?

I did a newborn diaper rental and chose Kissaluvs size 0 fitteds with Thirsties XS covers. It was great and I'd definitely do it again.

I voted for BG newborns because they were so convenient. We also loved prefolds from Green Mountain diapers paired with Thirsties covers. I didn't like the Bummis covers!

I used size one thirsties covers with flip inserts, but didnt start until LO was 2 weeks old.

@autumnlove: what didn't you like about the Bummis? I was planning to buy a couple of the super brites because they have the umbilical cut out.

We did a newborn rental from Modern Cloth and my favorites, by far were the Kissaluv 0's with the xs thirsties covers. Unfortunately, my LO grew out of the newborn size very quickly so it was a bit of a waste of money. He's been using his BG's since about 6 weeks and the rental was for 12.

@Thehistoryofus: I used http://www.diaperdaisy.com and they require $200 down (20 fitteds and 5 covers). The basic rental is about 10 weeks. You get either a $50 credit or refund once your return them so overall cost: $150 for 10 weeks = $15/week. Their newborn rental is specific to nifty nappy bitti bum fitteds but if you just email them, they'll probably do a custom rental like I did and there was no price difference. I was planning on doing the nifty nappy bitti bum but they were out of boy and gender neutral for my due date so they offered to do a different kind of fitted for me (my choice). The fitteds and covers I got were all brand new with tags and everything.

I'm loving my Tint G Pants . DD is 10 days old and so far I've had no issues with thim.

gDiapers! I love the newborn pants even better than the bigger baby gpants--I wish all my CDs were that easy!

I had the Grovia AIO and they were the only newborns I had.
I loved how cute they were.
I loved the fit.I did not love the massive amount of time they took to dry in the dryer. (When I switched to the 'one size' pockets I thought I'd died and gone to heaven, with how fast they dried!)
I also did not love that he started out-peeing the diapers way before he outgrew them, so I was dealing with pee leaks for a couple weeks before we switched to the big ones....maybe my bad for not switching.
Edit to add: a newborn stash is a bit pricey for the short time they wear them, but it made me soooo happy to have my new precious bundle in a newborn diaper.

Lil' Joey for life!!! Absolutely LOVE them!! They fit babe until 7-8 weeks. She was 7 lb 7 oz. at birth.
