My girls are 1.5 and 4 and still use the little one's infant to toddler rocker!
Noise machine is a close second. Ha!

The bouncer was indispensable in the first several months. A&A swaddles, SO multipurpose! Also the Little People barn + tractor...those suckers have bought me so much time

Maybe my beco Gemini baby carrier- I wore my older one until she was a year and a half, and now where my 7 month old almost every day. So much easier to have hands free with the toddler around.
Honorable mention to the white noise machine and uppababy vista- living in the city both have been key.

Oooh thought of more. My Sakura Bloom ring sling and my Lillebaby!

The swing. All three took epic naps in that thing and never required bouncing or rocking from me. Set it and forget it.
Then the Tripp Trapp. Still in daily use at 3.5+ years. Love it so much we now have three of them.

@sorrycharlie: yes! probably by baby carriers. I used the moby a lot in the newborn days and it was a lifesaver because he slept so well on me, but I could be hands-free that way and at least do some things like meal-prep or attempt to pick up the house (very difficult though with a newborn on your chest lol!)

@oliviaoblivia: Tripp Trapped is that great, huh? I might have to splurge. Hate staring at the Fisher Price hunk of junk in my kitchen.

@SweetCaroline: looooove them. They tuck under the table so they don't take up much space, wipe clean easily, and grow with your LO. DD1 is 3.5 and still uses hers at every meal. When it came time for DD2 to start solids we got her one and then again for DD3.
I don't see an end to these chairs, they're so versatile.

@oliviaoblivia: I wanted that chair so badly for my LO back when.
I know the keekaroo is similar for lesser price. I wonder if anyone has used both and could say if they're pretty similar!

@Mrs. Pen: great question! I was just googling and wondering the same thing between the two products!

I agree the Tripp Trapp is amazing. Such a small footprint and fits well in out 1910 house. I like babe items that don't look super pastel/cute. Followed by the Ergo 360.

Baby carriers hands down, hard to pick one though. We've used one 99.9 % of the days since my 11 month old was born. My nursing pillow, made by my mom, has been used every day since she gave it to me the first week. I love looking back at pictures of my teeny tiny little one sleeping on it.

I think I am the only person on the planet that found the Tripp Trapp difficult to use, especially with the toddler seat in the front.
My favorite thing was the baby bathtub. Sounds ridiculous, but we borrowed it from my SIL and set it up in the bathroom with the bathtub full time. It had a metal stand that allowed me to give my son a bath while standing. I can't tell you how much my back loved it!
Second favorite thing was a folding diaper wallet for changes on the go. I didn't even bother with a full diaper bag most of the time.

Noise machine (marpac dohm) and video monitor. Used from virtually day 1 until today (almost age 3) with no reason to stop.
Also another shout out for the tripp trapp. We got it when she was around 1 and she'll use it forever. Yes they are pricey but you get your money's worth. We'll definitely get another one for LO2.

Best bang for the buck? Definitely our white noise. We have the first years sounds for silence (it's now discontinued ). It was about $40 and we've been using it for 5 years in our older kid's room. She still uses it daily
. Our younger has the exact same one. It also travels with us whenever we are sleeping away from home.
A second would be our baby monitor. We upgraded almost 2 years ago to a double monitor with intercom. We also still use this in our 5 year old's room too. We have a two story home with all bedrooms upstairs. And given their use of white noise, we don't hear them if we are downstairs and even sometimes when we are upstairs.

When she was little, the swing for napping and the rock n play. When I was recovering from my c-section, the rock n play was the easiest thing for me to get her in and out of.

@looch: We love our skip hop diaper changing station also! It doubles as our diaper bag. 3 sets of diapers and a change of outfit for both kids plus wipes, nail clippers, and butt paste w/ qtips.
Our baby carrier was a life changer for us since we love to travel!

Noise machine, baby monitor (though ours is starting to crap out so we will need a new one for baby #2), and diaper clutch.

@oliviaoblivia: We just bought our third Tripp Trapp too!
