I need to send some flowers to my mom for her birthday. Suggestions on where to buy from? Are there any groupons or special deals going on right now? Her birthday is tomorrow...(oops)

I would find a local place if you want them that quickly. They're more likely to not charge for delivery if it's near where she is.
I tried bouqs for my niece recently after she had her tonsils taken out. They ended up canceling the order the day it was supposed to be delivered because they didn't have the flowers they expected to have. I wished we'd just used a local florist instead of counting on something different (my mom ended up buying something in person anyway to take to her)

I like to use local places when I can. Fallon's flowers is usually pretty good in the triangle area (pretty sure you're here too)!

I think I did Bouqs twice and both times were fine and flowers were beautiful!

I would do a local place. When you order from one of the online retailers, the flowers generally haven't bloomed yet and the bouquet is pretty disappointing out of the box.

We've sent Farmgirl Flowers a couple times and people loved them! You might need more than a day's notice though. Or Urban Stems, though they only deliver in certain places (I know DC and NYC...)

I ended up using Pro Flowers because they could get it there next day (so they said) and they had a groupon. I ordered for yesterday and yesterday at 8pm, I checked the status and it was still en-route with an ETA of today. I called Pro Flowers and they apologized and refunded my shipping costs. They actually said "that is so surprising, we try so hard to get our deliveries there on time every time."
