Sorry, I apparently need lots of gear advice this evening...
My 17 lb baby is just too heavy for me to carry around for very long before my arm feels like it's going to fall off. I have an Ergo, which we love for outings, but I was thinking a simple sling would be nice for around the house. Something I could just leave on all the time and pop him into (in the hip carry position) whenever I pick him up.
I'd love a woven wrap one day, but I don't think that's what I'm looking for now because of all the fabric and the expense.
I got one of the free ones from Seven Slings, but it's too small. So I was thinking one of the adjustable ones with the buckle would work well?
Looking at this one: http://www.amazon.com/The-Peanut-Shell-Adjustable-Whisper/dp/B004L9H18K/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
Anyone tried and liked one of these? Reviews I've read are mixed, but I think a lot of them are referring to use while baby is small and not on the hip.
