What's your favorite holiday stocking? I haven't come across any I love yet, so we don't have any. There will be 4 of us next year and we have no stockings!! 
I'm not opposed to making them, either, but....meh, lazy.

Haha, we have ones from Pottery Barn kids...my son told me this weekend he didn't like mine because it has my first name, not mama on it.

I am on the look out for stockings this year as well. I saw a few online from World Market that I may end up ordering.

Pottery Barn's Velvet Stockings. They come in green w/ cream cuff, red w/ cream cuff, and green & red combos. It's easy to Mix or Match.
Home Goods also has some really pretty metalics,and neutral fur stockings. Our ornaments are traditional red & green, so I'll probably get the PB ones.

@blackbird: Yeah, I know what you mean....I want to get different ones, the ones we have are on the sky blue background....the main reason I want to change them is that my son's is the huge one and it's ridiculous to fill!

@looch: our family tradition is to put a big orang in the toe of the stocking. in my dad's family they always had to eat their orange before they could wake their parents up (stockings are placed in your bedroom for when you wake up christmas morning), but my parents never made us do that
But anyways-- takes up some room! Although probably confusing if you've never one it before. lol

These are ours! I got them at target last year and had them embroidered at a local shop. It's hard to see in the cell phone picture but the brown is a herringbone print. I have a matching tree skirt too.

We have the Pottery Barn velvet stockings in classic red and white. It was important for me to have our names on them. We also have the matching little elf stockings for the dogs.

I knit ours! I would have to put some meaning to it, so if I wasn't knitting them I would try to find some from a local craft fair supporting someone local most likely, if not have them knit by someone I knew or for a cause.

We have classic pottery barn stockings I love them. I picked them up on sale last year abd they'll last forever
