Honestly, nothing. I have nothing to plan for (I have all the baby stuff from LO#1) I already have names picked out and I am stressed out about the timing of it all.

If really pushed, I would say TTC will hopefully lead to pregnancy and I am looking forward to being pregnant again - I loved being pregnant.

I agree with @Radish: nothing of it was fun for me, and I didn't have a long wait. I just found it incredibly stressful and hard.

The amount of BDing? Haha...we try to make the BD part as fun as possible. We were never people who BD more than 4x/week, so the increase in the number of times we BD is a lot of fun for us...

TTC really stresses me out and I can't wait for it to be over but having said that...

I do find it kind of exciting each month when I get closer to O and then to a possible positive test. It's hard to not feel discouraged as I get closer to 6 months (month 4 now) and my body still won't give me a normal cycle. I feel really good about this month though. I am hopeful that with weaning my son down to way fewer feeds and taking the proper vitamins I might be able to get pregnant without fully weaning as I see so many moms do. If my age and other factors (uterine fibroids, possible DOR) were not a factor I would also have an easier time with the waiting. Having my son though has been an amazing gift and unlike so many I didn't have a hard time or have to really TTC for my son (I did chart and get a bit nuts but we got a lucky surprise). I love having him in my life. I really pray I can give him a sibling. I don't want to rush the end of our nursing relationship though either. It's so hard. He loves nursing so much. We will see how it all goes. For now I still feel a lot of hope.

I also LOVE when I see BFPs from you girls roll in. Particularly for someone who has been at it a while and really struggled. It's so inspiring and sweet.

@septca: ️ I agree. It's honestly the ladies at HB that makes it bearable.

It's hard to get excited for sex when it feels so forced.

Even poas has lost it's appeal.

I mean. .. Maybe it's just me, but I love peeing on sticks. The BFNs seriously suck, but peeing on ALL the sticks is the best.

And BDing. Yep.

@mrs. bird: preach. Up until the age of 23, I though all a chick had to do was get wasted and have some crazy, monkey sex and then 2 weeks later she'd miss a period. Silly me.

@Snowdrop: That's super hardcore. Are you just DTD EOD? How have you been? I know I have been MIA.

Though DH and I have now been trying for 11 months (come on APRIL!), I think one of the "coolest" things about TTC despite how cheesy it sounds is learning so much about my body. While it's frustrating, heartbreaking, and stressful as well, I am honestly amazed DAILY by the beauty and complexity of how my body works (or in my case doesn't work ). There are so very many things I had no idea about myself physically that I have learned over the past year ttc.

Plus, I really do enjoy the sex. DH and I are pretty regularly (EOD or ED) which we'd do even if we weren't TTC so I don't feel like we're -only- doing it for a baby.

I have never seen a BFP, so I don't even know if I can get pregnant. Never had a pregnancy scare, haven't had any testing, etc.. For me, heading into six months means I have to keep trying for yet another six months hoping to see a BFP before I can even get testing since being under 35 means I should be okay and try for a year (although this isn't some golden rule!)

So, the mishaps of timed sex. DH always says something witty like, "let's do this!" Or "did someone call a plumber!" It is so cheesy, but funny as hell. TMI, I read the woman should orgasm with the man, and it wasn't happening so I pulled out my vibrator. It broke during sex, and shot across the room. That probably would've been embarrassing with anyone else, but I died laughing, and DH was trying not to laugh, and of course he started laughing hard. These are fun memories during what is otherwise a stressful time.

@RonniLeigh: wow, that is good to know. I'm almost 27, and while I have a spot on 27-28 day cycle, I'm finding I only have a 10-11 day luetal phase, and ovulate on day 17

@dc yoga bee: Definitely would be worth getting checked out! Give it a try. The worst they can say I suppose is that you need to wait longer. I figure there's no harm in getting tested. If it turns out everything is ok, then you have the peace of mind knowing that.

@Snowdrop: Was she a fortune teller? Perhaps I should go see one and see what she says. My sister told me her horoscope said someone in her family would get pregnant this year. We originally thought it'd be me, though now that my brother and SIL have gotten pregnant I suppose I need another horoscope!

@RonniLeigh: she could read palms. I didn't ask her to she was a patient. The land lady of a local pub who is a fortune teller randomly told me I would have twins too last year!
I have considered going to see a fortune teller but I'm scared one would say I'd never have kids and then I would be depressed. Do you think you will see one?

@Snowdrop: that makes me nervous too. Or even using something like Jenny Renny- I'm afraid I'd feel hopeless if it wasn't one of the months she listed.
