My DD is ready for next size undies. We were using cheapo minnie ones......but since I'm going to size up I thought we would upgrade a bit.....the waist band & leg holes seem so itchy and constantly unravel.
I know I like soft waistbands so I was leaning toward maybe oshkosh undies....
What are some favorite girl undies? [We are in the 4T size range]

I haven’t tried Oshkosh but we’ve been happy with the carters ones which are probably similar. Hold up well and cute designs (sometimes more online than in store).

We're 4T also and I currently have Cat & Jack and Hanes in my cart at Target. I feel like anything is an upgrade b/c she has always worn the cheapo princess ones to entice her to potty!

@bhbee: thanks - I was looking at oshkosh because the waistband looked more substantial.... glad to know you've been happy with carters version.

Gymboree were our favorites but since those aren't a choice anymore, we have been pretty happy with carters and oshkosh. I wanted to like the cat and jack ones but we couldn't find a good fit for DD with any of the styles.

Our favorite are the Carters ones. They’re comfy and don’t give her wedgies the way cheaper ones seem to.

@meadow: no complaints and my kid complains about everything that scratches or anything like that - she’s worn them from age 3 to 7 now. If you’re in the market for boys I also really love their boxer briefs - so cute and comfy.

I've really liked Hanes and Fruit of the Loom for my 3-yr old! Fruit of the Loom ran a little small, fyi. I was not impressed with the Cat & Jack ones. The elastic is shredding on all of them.

Gap and Tucker and Tate fit well. She loves the character ones ( paw patrol ) but I hate them.

We've had success with both Carter's and Oshkosh, as wellas Cat & Jack (more mature geometric designs), The Children's Place (obnoxious glittery designs, haha).
Personally, I'd call the Carter's waistband thicker - it is fabric covered, whereas the Oshkosh waistband is just elastic zig-zag stitched to the inside of the fabric. Both are very soft, and slightly better quality material than any of the aforementioned brands.
Our very favorite toddler undies were Rene Roffee brand from TJ Maxx/Marshalls - they came in a 3-pack and were solid or floral print pointelle - insanely soft, but not thick, and wore well without pilling.
One tip - don't buy a lot until you know her personal preference - I bought my (older) daughter some Hanna undies as a treat (nice thick, soft, cotton) - and she was picking at her crotch because she says she likes the thinner material. We got rid of them right away. 
If you think your child would like the thicker cotton, there are great knockoffs of the Hanna Andersson undies on Amazon.

@bhbee: I do have b/g twins! My son just trained this summer vs my DD who is a year in undies. His are all new & the same brand as DD but way better quality imo. I'll keep this in mind when he's ready for new ones!

Hanna Andersson hands down. They come in either brief or bikini style (brief are a big baggy on my girls but somehow don't look bulky under clothes. They're expensive full price but I find them pretty cheap at the outlet. Seven pair for $9-10 and they LAST.
ETA: the outlets will ship if you don't have one near you - just call and ask.
Cat and Jack are also much nicer than the character ones. Old Navy ones are okay but never fit my DD1 quite right,

We really love the quality and fit of uniqlo's underwear. They are significantly thicker than others and have fabric-wrapped waistbands and leg holes.

We like the Old Navy ones - I watch for them to go on sale and stock up. Very sturdy (now being used by LO2!) and wash well, plus comfy.
