What's your favorite waterproof bibs that aren't all plastic? Most of ours from DD 1 aren't waterproof and get soaked through in no time.

Carters teething bibs are pretty good. They come in packs of 3 or 4 and go on sale kind of often. I use them daily for my DD who was a drool monster from about 3 months old. They feel like fabric but with a waterproof liner in the middle.

I love my Mally Bib (https://mallydesigns.com) it's leather, made in Canada, and has held up really well through pretty tough abuse from my DD. It's stain free and super super easy to clean. They're $$ but it's literally the one and only bib that I use.

@tiramisu: do their bibs come in different sizes? I have a few Carter bibs but they're more NB size and can't fit around her neck anymore! But the ones I'm thinking of are pretty waterproof

@regberadaisy: i have this 4 pack for my daughter and she can still use it at 8 months old. She's not that small either...about 20 pounds or so.

I have heard good things about Cheeky Chompers neckerchews:

They are a bit pricier, but are reversible, absorbant, and have a chew bit for teething. Plus they come in super cute fabric options. We registered for two to try out. They're available at BRU in Canada, but made in the UK. I'm sure they could be found elsewhere in the US.

Plastic in the back, just don't put them in the dryer!

I love, love, love this OXO travel bib: http://amzn.com/B00D3TPGAO
We use this one while out and about, but it could easily be used at home. I love that it is a waterproof cloth on top and a structured shelf on the bottom so food and liquid doesn't miss the pocket. It rolls up and secures, so it great for later clean-up.
