Once an item has been bought or sold on the Classifieds, the person who made the listing can close it out. This been a really helpful way to clean up the classifieds section, but we've noticed that there are now a bunch of "closed" listings cluttering up the classifieds section.

So NaturallyCathy had a suggestion to clear this all up: "I think it would be helpful if the classifieds that were closed would be automatically be moved to the back of the classified section."

It was a great suggestions, so we went ahead and implemented it! Now we first show all of the open classifieds, in the order they were posted:

Next we show all of the closed classifieds, in the same order (newest listings first). You can see how it works here - as of today, the closed classifieds start appearing near the bottom of page 3 on the classifieds:

Each category of items (e.g. "Kids Clothes") also uses a similar sort... first it shows the open listings in order of date listed, then it shows the closed listings:
